RTB Machinery specializes in high quality lines of both new and used machinery, tooling and accessory items for the metal fabrication and machine tool industry. We represent a select number of top quality machinery builders from all over the world and are excited for the opportunity to help you.

Over the years, owner Tom Buffington built a reputation for selling quality products and demonstrating customer service on a foundation of integrity and a desire to not just “sell” machinery but provide the best solutions available to our customers. Our 20+ years of experience in the industry and close relationships with our vendors provide us expertise in the full spectrum of metalworking machinery. From simple manual machines to fully automated CNC systems, no need is too big or too small!

RTB Machinery is, at its heart, a family business. Formed over Sunday dinners and years of talks about metal fabrication, we now want to show our enthusiasm to everyone who is willing to gain not only a business associate but also a friend.

Our Team

Tom Buffington

Tom Buffington

Tom has been in sales for 40 years and spent 21 years of that in metal manufacturing machine sales before retiring. He’s back!! Missed the business, missed the people, so he and his son have started RTB.

Besides sales, he is a consummate grandpa and family man. He spends his free time gardening, woodworking, doing stained glass, and following Husker football & baseball.

Ryan Buffington

Ryan Buffington

Ryan has had a long history of providing exactly what his clientele need and will continue that practice at RTB Machinery. With years of managerial experience and having worked within all facets of the HVAC business for 15 years, the jump to this business seems the next logical step. Ryan is ecstatic to be joining his father on this venture and about meeting & helping all possible customers.

Mark McBride

Mark has 15 years of industrial sales experience and has been involved with sales in general for nearly 30 years.  With his background of providing components to the industrial sales market, it was a natural progression for him to move into the machine sales side of the industry.  He believes that communication and integrity are vital to any sale and works hard to act quickly and efficiently to respond to customers and provide information to best serve their needs.  On the weekends, Mark is an avid BBQ enthusiast and is always dreaming up something to perfect on the grill or smoker for his family and friends.
